Charity Partner Project

International Ministerial Fellowship (IMF), a trans-denominational ministry, has been a full partner in the development of Christian Community Golf Association from its inception. Having worked with many smaller ministries  and churches that were not large enough to sponsor a charity fundraising event, IMF, along with a number of Promise Keepers, envisioned CCGA as a way in which many churches of all sizes could work together to raise funds for various church projects, as well as for IMF.

Each year, the funds raised through the charity golf tournament will be shared by all the ministry projects designated by participating churches and IMF.

International Ministerial Fellowship is an association of laymen and clergy who serve in many different denominational and ministry settings. Established in 1986. IMF as a para-church organization designed to assist men and women in qualifying and serving in both traditional and non-traditional church settings around the world.

IMF is housed in Fridley, Minnesota. It has a Board of Directors, a Reference Board of Clergy, representing various denominations, and members serving in 28 countries. Approximately 1,000 of its members serve in organizations, such as Teen Challenge, Youth With a Mission, Young Life, Campus Life, inner city missions, and feeding kitchens. Members also serve as prison chaplains, hospital chaplains, active duty and reserve military chaplains, missionaries, and staff and senior pastors of denominational and independent congregations.  A survey in 2003 found the through the IMF membership over 82,000 decisions for Christ were made.  In 2004 Year To Date over 42,000 new decisions for Christ have already been made.  Praise the Lord!

Their work reaches across denominational lines and includes humanitarian projects, like the distribution of leather boots and slippers to orphans in Russia; medicines to jungle medical clinics in Labrea, Brazil; church repairs in Alaska; pillows, blankets and literature to the children's tuberculosis hospitals overseas; hospital beds to Mexico; and a host of other outreach activities.

IMF's special ministry project, to be funded by this year's tournament, is the construction of a new ministry headquarters building being built at the corner of East Moore Lake Drive and 63rd Avenue Northeast in Fridley, Minnesota. The building is now completed and open. CCGA is thankful it can participate in the growth of International Ministerial Fellowship and through IMF benefit many other ministries around the world.
